Mark Banks – Director

Practice Principle Mark Banks has over 15 years experience in personal training working with all types of client abilities ranging from sports specific to the average everyday person.
Mark previous background includes working as a Supervisor of 6 gyms for Sunderland City Council, along with working as Duty Manager of 3 gyms in Australia. Mark has also worked as the Strength and Conditioning Coach / Fitness Trainer for Essendon Bombers, a leading Australian Rules Football team. When Mark returned from Australia, he then set up The Fitness Bank at the Sunderland Health and Racquet Club, generating a client base of over 230 Personal Training clients.

  • Australian Institute of fitness level 4.
  • Advanced Gold Star Standard.
  • Ante and Post Natal Exercise YMCA.
  • Advanced Weight Loss Specialist ACSM.
  • Advanced Nutrition Specialist AIF.

Tim Ford – Health & Fitness Coach / Personal Trainer

Tim has been helping people feel better about themselves for over 10 years. He is passionate about health and fitness and dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. Tim believes that optimal health is the combination of a healthy body and a healthy mind. He specialises in helping busy mums and professionals with immediate and sustainable fat loss as well as positive lifestyle change.

Lewis Wilkinson – Personal Trainer

Lewis is a highly motivated trainer, who focuses on working closely with his clients to reach their desired goal. Lewis has been in sport and exercise related education for the past 5 years and has developed a wealth of knowledge about how to and how not to exercise. He uses this knowledge to create safe and effective tailored programs for his clients. Lewis specialises in fat loss, strength training and sport specific training including, running, football and rugby.

Qualifications:

  • Currently working towards a BSc degree in Exercise, Health & Fitness (3rd year of study)
  • Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science
  • Level 2 Award in the Principles of Coaching Sport
  • Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
  • Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction
